Paintless Dent Removal: 3 Ways To Remove Car Dents
There are three main techniques in paintless dent removal:
- pushing dents: using special metal tools such rods, whale tails and brace tools to push dents from inside out. This technique requires access through rubber plug holes, lights, doors and windows
- glue pulling: using a glue puller or sliding hammer, glue tabs are glued using hot glue to stick to but not damage the paint and using inertia and a pulling technique, the glue is pulled out on or more jabs or pulls. Adhesives are easily removed using methylated spirits sprayed on the glued area
