The Triangle Dent Shock Machine is the new machine developed in partnership with Fast PDR Tools, which came to help hammer technicians work with stretched dents.
Do you know when the dent was so deep that it deformed the original print on the can and there was that “spring” effect? So, this machine came to solve this problem! The heat generated by small electrical pulses in the car’s tin causes the sheet metal to shrink and become firmer, making it possible to finish these dents (which were previously lost). To be able to work with the machine’s shocks, it needs electrical contact, which is why we recommend sanding the paint underneath the dent where the electrode will come into contact. We also recommend sanding the contact where the ground will be fixed with the alligator clip.

Ding Fixer SX-6000 Machine to Remove the Spring Effect

This equipment is used to remove the “spring effect” or “oil canning” from dented steel sheets. This machine was developed exclusively for PDR Technicians who work in severe hail conditions. It is very common and well-known by Brazilian Technicians.

How to Use:

To use this machine, the technician must remove the paint from the affected area to be worked on, where the tip will be used with charcoal or electrode. The earth claw should be attached to the same workpiece and the paint should also be removed to close the circuit.

The voltage of the machine should be adjusted according to the thickness of the plate, but if the adjustment point enters the red indicator, there must be some extra care as it may cause damage to the vehicle’s paint. You should only use on extremely thick plates.

The process begins after the dent has been removed with PDR technique. With the Earth wire properly connected to the plate, the technician should apply the charcoal on the dented area observing the elevation (coming back to normal) of the plate. The charcoal should be applied in motion without interruptions, as it may burn the paint if you stop it at one place.

After this procedure, the elevated part must be lowered with the help of PDR technique by using a support underneath.

The procedure should be repeated until the desired finish is achieved. And another magnet for ground wire contact.
